Pramono Inaugurates 100 Jakarta Functional Officials

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, officially inaugurated 100 functional officials at Great Hall, Jakarta City Hall, Monday (6/30).

The ones who were inaugurated consist of 97 from Education Agency (Disdik), two from Legal Bureau, and one from Health Agency (Dinkes).

This inauguration is based on the letter from Head of State Civil Service Agency and Decree of Governor of Special Capital Region of Jakarta No. 352 to 359/2025.

In his speech, Pramono emphasized the importance of refreshment and job rotation within the Jakarta Povernment.

"Tour of duty should be done in vacant positions or for employees who have been in their positions for too long. This is because, after all, the Jakarta Government as a global city must also have fresher personnel and renewed enthusiasm," he expressed.

He reminded the appointed officials that the position is both a trust and a challenge. The duties must be done to the best of their ability following the oath of office that was just recited.

This was not only a form of commitment to work, superiors, and society, but also a promise to God. Therefore, the new position must be able to bring goodness in the future.

"For anyone who accepts a position, the person concerned is truly tested in their sincerity to be able to run that role," he asserted.

Ahead of its 500th anniversary in 2027, Jakarta is striving to become one of the top 50 global cities in the world. Currently, Jakarta ranks 74th out of 156 global cities.

Therefore, the newly inaugurated officials can also contribute to making Jakarta a better place. He also invited all parties to work together happily and sincerely according to their respective responsibilities.

"It is impossible for that to be realized without the participation of everyone, including all of you," he stated.
